Workshop "3 ABORDAGENS ESPACIAIS"
Pretende-se estimular uma investigação sobre este eixo (Av. da República) enquanto elemento contínuo e estruturante a partir das diferentes camadas, segmentações e apropriações presentes ao longo desta parte da cidade, a provocar confrontos de âmbitos educativo, artístico e espacial, sugerindo intervenções em diferentes níveis de temporalidade que as propostas deverão integrar.
Abordagem #01 – Performatividade (Out/2020)
Criar e registar ocorrências performativas, espaciais ou relacionais, de natureza não imediatamente visual através de formas visuais ou plásticas. Analisar e reagir às condições urbanas que forem sendo identificadas a partir da própria experiência física, da interferência espacial, ou da construção de uma situação.

Workshop "3 SPATIAL APPROACHES"
It is intended to stimulate an investigation on this axis (Av. da República) as a continuous and structuring element from the different layers, segmentations and appropriations present throughout this part of the city, to provoke confrontations in educational, artistic and spatial areas, suggesting interventions at different levels of temporality that the proposals must integrate.
Approach #01 - Performativity (Oct/2020)
Create and record performative, spatial or relational occurrences, of a not immediately visual nature, through visual or plastic forms. Analyze and react to urban conditions that are identified from the physical experience itself, from spatial interference, or from the construction of a situation.

Jardim do Morro / Hill Garden El Corte Inglés
Me inquieta bastante Gaia ser citada apenas pelo El Corte Inglés e pela bela vista que tem do Porto. Inspirado nas derivas Dada, Surrealista e Situacionista me propus a marcar pontos de interesse e não interesse no mapa da Avenida da República, buscando entrar em contato com as zonas inconscientes do território. Imaginei criar trajetos para que outras pessoas pudessem utilizar, acrescentar e modificar. Derivar por desejos possíveis.

It worries me a lot that Gaia is mentioned only by El Corte Inglés and for the beautiful view it has of Porto. Ao visitar a avenida pela segunda vez, entrei em conflito com monstros de concreto, áreas de especulação imobiliária e poucos espaços de lazer. Passei então a procurar as zonas de respiro do espaço. Afinal, onde estavam as narinas da Avenida da República?

When visiting the avenue for the second time, I came into conflict with concrete monsters, areas of real estate speculation and few leisure spaces. So I started looking for the breathing zones of space. After all, where were the nostrils of Avenida da República?

A partir da terceira visita me tornei um meio de comunicação entre os espaços subutilizados
e a população que por ali circula. Eu quis dar voz ao território, eu quis ressignificar e dar vida ao espaço público. Torná-lo um espaço social crítico e fomentar uma melhor utilização.
